Introducing
Theresa Gwinnett
eBH is excited to introduce Theresa Gwinnett, MS, RD to our team! Theresa is a Registered Dietitian through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She received a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Indiana State University and completed a dietetic internship through Eisenhower Medical Center. Theresa has worked with those seeking help with disordered eating in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation centers, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient treatment. She has worked with clients struggling with GI issues, nutrient deficiencies, diabetes and other chronic diseases. She has taught group nutrition classes as well as cooking classes and has experience taking clients on grocery store outings and restaurant outings. Theresa enjoys attending medical conferences for updated research and education on topics like intuitive eating, body image, and digestion.
Theresa values working with clients to build individualized meal plans and tailoring nutrition recommendations based on their needs. She understands that clients may feel weighed down with worry, frustration, and exhaustion about food, and will provide support and compassion throughout their recovery. Theresa believes in an “all food fits” approach to eating and is committed to listening to clients while addressing any nutrition related health concerns.
For Fun
In her free time Theresa loves playing beach volleyball and snowboarding. Her favorite way to wind down on the weekend is watch movies with her Northern Blue Tongue Skink named Theo!
